What are your hours?

Monday through Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 2pm.

What can I expect in the first session?

We will talk about what is bringing you in and what you want to be different. I will ask questions to understand the patterns that might be keeping you stuck, and we will start mapping out how to change them. You will leave with a clearer picture of what we are working on and how we will get there.

What therapy approaches do you use?

I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as an important component of my work, along with ACT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches. My overall orientation is relational and integrative, which means I tailor therapy to you and the issues bringing you in rather than applying one method to everyone.

CBT can be very effective for identifying patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other concerns. At times, though, understanding and changing a pattern requires looking beyond the immediate thoughts or behaviors. We may explore the underlying emotions, relationship patterns, experiences, and ways of relating that have shaped how you respond to yourself and others.

The therapeutic relationship itself is also part of the work. I pay attention to what happens between us because it can provide valuable insight into how you experience and respond to other relationships.
